Highly sought after by ship builders over a century ago, the mature trees can reach over five meters in diameter with almost no branching and solid throughout the trunk, resulting in a need for protection from harvest.
 Inspired by the majestic icon, the designers at Montaudio have created a premium Cable Elevator with the same name, sharing the same thick solid-wood structure using a single solid piece of Walnut wood for vibration attenuation. Precision-machined, the crown of the Kauri KR Cable Elevator is precisely calculated saddle-shaped, enabling a secure-yet-minimal contact area for cable placement to further reduce vibration transmission.
 Providing a solid footing is a precision-machined, unibody stainless steel base with twin engineered elastomer rings underneath for non-slip placement & vibration isolation. The base is secured to the walnut trunk above via a stainless-steel screw post.
