De MCD350 SACD/CD-speler biedt een pure luisterervaring voor je SACD’s en CD’s.
Hij is uitgerust met een gebalanceerde 2-kanaals 32-bit/192kHz Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC). De vaste analoge stereo-uitgangen zijn beschikbaar in zowel gebalanceerde als ongebalanceerde vorm. Daarnaast beschikt het apparaat over coaxiale en optische digitale uitgangen voor wie het digitale audiosignaal liever naar een externe DAC, voorversterker of homecinema-processor stuurt. Alle analoge en coaxiale digitale uitgangen zijn goudgeplateerd voor superieure corrosiebestendigheid.

De MCD350 leest discs op dubbele snelheid, zodat alle gegevens op een disc sneller worden ingelezen in een buffergeheugen. Dit zorgt voor betere foutcorrectie en tracking. De twin-laser optische pickup gebruikt één objectieflens met twee laserunits, elk met een verschillende golflengte, geoptimaliseerd voor SACD- en CD-weergave.
Het apparaat is afgewerkt met het klassieke zwarte McIntosh-glasfront met verlicht logo en aluminium eindkappen.
