Audioquest Irish Red subwoofer cable 2m
The red Irish Setter (Irish Red) is a distant descendant of the Spanish Pointer (Perdiguero de Burgos), and is actually a cross between the English Setter, the Gordon Setter and the Irish Water Spaniel. Irish Setters are known for their kind, playful and open character. These dogs have a natural urge to explore and especially enjoy retrieving. These characteristics can undoubtedly be traced back to the Irish Setter's role as companions of hunters on foot. The intelligence, calmness and friendliness of the Irish Setter make the breed an excellent service dog.
Available lengths: 2m-20m
SOLID 0.5% SILVER PLATED CONDUCTORS
Solid conductors prevent mutual influence between the wires in twisted cables and reduce jitter. Solid silver-plated conductors are perfect for high-frequency applications. Because they have such a high frequency, these signals travel almost exclusively over the surface of the conductor. Because this surface is made of a very pure grade of silver, the performance is almost equal to that of a solid silver conductor, but in terms of pricing it is much closer to solid copper cables. This is an incredibly cost effective way to produce high quality Subwoofer cables.
METAL-LOW NOISE-DISSIPATION SYSTEM (NDS)
100% shielding is easy. Preventing captured RF disturbances from modulating the equipment's ground potential requires AQ's Noise-Dissipation System. Noise-Dissipation System prevents much of the captured RFI from reaching the equipment ground.
SYMMETRIC COAX GEOMETRY
Identical conductors for + and – prevent the shield from having to be used as an inferior audio conductor.
COLD WELDED GOLD PLATED RCA PLUGS
This plug design allows a connection to be made without solder, a common source of distortion. Because the plugs are not machined but pressed, a metal with low deformation can be chosen without having to take machinability into account.
FOAMED POLYETHYLENE INSULATION
Any solid material next to a conductor is actually part of an imperfect circuit. Wire insulation and circuit board materials all absorb energy. Some of this energy is stored and then released as distortion. Because air absorbs virtually no energy and polyethylene has little loss and a good deformation profile, Foamed-PE with its high air content causes much less of the blurred effect that occurs with other materials.
